Raised in the challenging environs of inner-city Saginaw, Michigan, Ryan's journey is one of ambition turned into action. With a keen mind and the support of mentors, he navigated his way to a full tuition scholarship at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to educational equity and social impact.

THE BIRTH OF LEVELUP IN NYC
The inception of LEVELUP in NYC stemmed from Ryan's personal experiences with the challenges of networking in a large city. After facing a layoff in early 2023, he leveraged his network to land his dream job in Social Impact Philanthropy at one of the nation’s most notable Philanthropic organizations. This turning point illuminated the need for a platform to help others navigate their professional landscapes more effectively. LEVELUP in NYC was born out of this vision—a beacon for ambitious professionals seeking to elevate their careers through high-quality networking events, professional development resources, and direct access to career opportunities.
Ryan's future plans include expanding LEVELUP in NYC, launching a podcast to share insights and stories from various professionals, and continuing his Networking Strategy Advising sessions.
